1. Adjust Your Outlook Settings â
- First, log in to your Outlook account. Click on the settings gear icon âď¸ in the top right corner. Navigate to âSync emailâ.
- Now, make sure to enable the option âLet devices and apps use POPâ. Just give that âYesâ a click. đ

2. Generate a Secure Password (If You Have 2-Factor Authentication) đ
- Next, go to your Outlook profile settings. Youâll find it in the top right corner. Select âMy Microsoft Accountâ. In the main menu, click on âSecurityâ and then head over to âAdvanced Security optionsâ. Hereâs a quick link for you: account.microsoft.com/security.

- Username: Your Outlook email address.
- Password: The password you just generated.
