Safety is our main focus for successful cold outreach, so just as for the domains, you should create a separate workspace for the domain you just bought. Here’s how to make a separate workspace for your alternate domains. 👇
2.1. Workspace Creation 📧
Step 1
Choose Gmail or Outlook as your workspace, as they’ve got the best deliverability.
Step 2
From our research, for added security, attach 10-15 domains to this new workspace.
For this guide, we will use Google Workspace, and the flow is similar to all other workspaces. To begin, click on "Get started" and add the sign-up information.
Add your business name, number of employees, and region, and move along to the next screen.
Step 3
When adding your contact information, you can create your first email with the new domain that you created on Level 1.
When we get to this screen, this is where we connect our new workspace with our alternate domain, so click on “No, set up using a domain.” Then, you’ll get to the screen below. 👇
👇
Enter your new domain name and add a secondary email address.
💡 Pro tip: This could be your main domain email or your private email address.
After that, choose a plan and enter your credit card information. You’ll get a 14-day free trial anyway, but we will return after you sign up and save additional funds by switching to a more affordable plan from Business Standard > Business Starter. ✨
2.2. Downgrade your Billing Plan 💸
Since Google Workspace doesn’t offer any plan other than the most popular Business Standard, you can & should go and change it to a more affordable plan.
Go to the Main menu and click Billing > Subscriptions in the Admin Console. Then, click on the chosen plan and the Upgrade or Downgrade.
This is where you change your payment plan from Business Standard to Business Starter, which is twice as affordable.
Done with this level? Awesome! Let’s move on to Domain verification & MX record setup.
